Shahpura Bagh is a boutique, experiential heritage retreat, based in Rajasthan; a 45-acre garden estate surrounded by two lakes and hundreds of trees, many of which are centuries old and one of the best pools in the state. Our family established the state of Shahpura in 1630 and we are essentially a restoration and community outreach project with just nine rooms, and believe in a comprehensive approach to sustainable and responsible tourism. It is an honourable legacy that we strive to uphold. The erstwhile Royal Family numbering 5 of us resides on the estate and enjoy interacting with guests, making it a very personalised bespoke stay. Thus, clients arrive as guests but leave as friends and for many it is the highlight of their trip as per feedback received.
