For more than 30 years, Pandaw has been a leader in river cruising in India. Sailing the Ganges, Brahmaputra, Hooghly River, and Kerala Backwaters, our journeys range from colonial cities to wildlife reserves and coastal lagoons. As of 2025, Pandaw is the only river cruise line offering multi-night sailings through the Kerala Backwaters, providing a deeper way to experience this unique region. Our fleet of small, handcrafted brass and teak ships, each with just 10 to 30 cabins, is designed with shallow drafts to reach remote waterways that larger vessels cannot access. From ship crew to local guides, nearly all staff are hired from the regions in which Pandaw operates, bringing local knowledge each journey while ensuring tourism supports the communities along the river.
